[IssueValley=Reporter Yoon Dae-woo] Myanmar's military has arrested and indicted 19 medical personnel who participated in protests against the coup, Myanmar's independent media irrawaddy reported.

The 19 medical personnel arrested by Myanmar's coup military include the head of the government's health department, Myanmar's medical supervisor, doctors and nurses, according to Waiwadi on the 14th (local time). They are all members of Myanmar's government hospital who have been treating people injured in anti-coup demonstrations and demonstrations.

Among the arrested medical staff, Dr. Kyaw Min Soe, an orthopedic surgeon in Yangon, Myanmar, participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) and treated people injured in anti-government protests. In particular, the local newspaper reported that Dr. Jowai, who was appointed as acting minister of Myanmar, was arrested for his close relationship.

The newspaper pointed out that hundreds of medical workers in Yangon and Mandalay, Myanmar, have been targeted by doctors and nurses since they launched the Civil Disobeying Movement (CDM) in protest of the military coup.

The CDM currently has tens of thousands of government officials and workers, as well as doctors and nurses, with Myanmar's military shutting down government agencies, schools, hospitals and banks.

"Many people have been dying since doctors stopped treatment at government hospitals," a Myanmar military spokesman said.

However, CDM doctors are offering free treatment to patients injured in demonstrations in private and free clinics despite the arrest of the coup government, according to a local newspaper.

According to the Anti-Cooteta Demonstration, about 3,000 people have been arrested by the coup military, including teachers, doctors, nurses, journalists, writers, artists, and civilians, and more than 710 civilians have died.
