[Desk Column] Trump wants to go to 'Heaven'... The secret to achieving his wish

[Issue Valley = Yoon Dae-woo, Editor-in-Chief] President Donald Trump said, "I said I wanted to go to heaven." He also said that the "heaven" is the reason he actively participated as a mediator in the stalled war in Ukraine.

"I think it's great if we can stop a situation where 7000 people are killed every week, if possible, I want to try and go to heaven," Trump said.

"My evaluation is not very good, but if I can go to heaven, it's because of the end of the war in Ukraine," he added. His remarks in heaven have been made several times in the past.

The way President Trump, known as a Protestant, goes to heaven is to truly believe in Jesus Christ.

According to the Christian Bible, preventing war does not necessarily mean going to heaven. Christians are convinced that they will go to heaven if they properly believe in Jesus as a savior rather than righteous behavior. True repentance and the service of love are, of course, prerequisites for going to heaven.

Most of the past U.S. presidents except for a few were Christian. Harry S. who saved the Republic of Korea from the brink of war. President Truman, General Douglas MacArthur, and President Dwight D. Eisenhower would all have won a ticket to heaven.

If Trump believes that he can prevent war and go to heaven, he should quickly stop the war not only in Ukraine but also in Palestine. Currently, Trump is fully supporting Israel, calling Netanyahu a war hero.

If you think the way to heaven is due to human righteousness, you should not only mediate the war, but also consider the minds of people around the world suffering from the economy and stop pressing customs policies.

Successive presidents of the U.S. helped poor countries and sent U.S. troops to countries that were on the verge of war. It gave many economic benefits. The representative country that benefited is the Republic of Korea.

Thanks to successive U.S. presidents, the Republic of Korea has been enjoying liberal democracy and market economy for 72 years. Jimmy Carter, who passed away recently, also made efforts for peace on the Korean Peninsula, so Trump would have entered heaven if Trump followed his rule.

On the 25th, President Trump will meet with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung. In a short schedule, President Trump will try to get more money from the Korean government and businesses to build factories, but the pressure and burden will be entirely up to President Lee and the chaebol heads who attended the meeting.

Ultimately, if large Korean companies begin to relocate their factories to the United States, there will be fewer jobs in Korea, resulting in a series of unemployed people. Workers and their families will sigh and resent Trump.

Therefore, this Korea-U.S. summit is not a burden to Korea. Successive U.S. presidents have not given such a burden to Korean presidents by welcoming them with utmost care. I was just talking about Korea's safety, peace, and economic cooperation like my brother.

Let's go back to the story of heaven, if President Trump really wants to go to heaven, he should ease the burden on people in Korea and around the world who are suffering economically.

Raising tariffs would make each country's economy more difficult, and companies would not be able to export, and companies would have to let go of their workers. Has President Trump ever experienced what will happen if jobs decrease and income decrease.

When you have only 10,000 won in your pocket.

Economic poverty in capitalism is said to be little different from living in hell, even though it may not be comparable to the suffering of war. So, I ask you to let the people of Korea and the world live in heaven, not economic hell.

I imagine President Trump will probably get a good seat in heaven and be treated as a VIP by Jesus if he builds up a lot of good things, such as mediating wars and stopping tariff trade pressures.

I hope President Trump stops the war in Ukraine and Palestine and ends the tariff trade war. Then the ticket to heaven would be a party with a ticket.
