[이슈밸리=박지영 기자] 쿠팡이 코로나19 확산으로 비상 체제에 들어갔다고 20일 밝혔다. 마스크와 손세정제 등 위생용품과 생필품 주문이 전국적으로 급증한데 따른 조치다.
쿠팡은 주문량이 급증한 품목의 재고를 최대한 확보하고, 가능한 모든 방법을 동원해 배송에 나설 계획이다.
특히 신규 환자가 몰린 대구·경북지역에서도 고객들이 원활하게 생필품을 배송 받을 수 있도록 총력 지원에 나선다. 전날인 19일 이후 이 지역 주문량이 평소보다 최대 4배 늘어, 조기 품절과 극심한 배송 인력 부족 현상이 나타났다.
쿠팡 관계자는 “일부 언론과 온라인 커뮤니티에 ‘대구경북지역에 배송을 안해주는 것 아니냐’는 잘못된 정보가 나오고 있는데 이는 사실이 아니다”라며, “현재 전례 없는 정도로 주문이 몰리고 있어 배송 인력을 긴급히 늘리는 등 모든 방법을 동원해 주문 처리에 임하고 있다”고 했다.
이어 “고객이 겪고 있는 불편을 조금이나마 덜 수 있도록 총력을 다하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편, 대구에서는 코로나19 확진자 5명이 추가돼 하루만에 28명이 발생했다. 지금까지 대구지역 확진환자는 모두 39명으로 늘었다.

続いて"顧客が直面している不便を少しでも軽減できるよう総力を尽くしたい"と付け加えた。
一方、大邱(テグ)ではコロナ19フヮクジンジャ5人が追加され、一日ぶりに28人が発生した。 今まで大邱地域の確定患者は計39人に増えた。

In particular, the government will provide all-out support to customers in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, where new patients are gathered, to ensure that daily necessities are delivered smoothly. Orders from the region have increased up to four times since Wednesday, the previous day, resulting in early sell-offs and a severe shortage of delivery personnel.
"Some media outlets and online communities have misinformation that they don't ship to Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, which is not true," said a Coupang official. "As orders are currently being placed to an unprecedented level, we are working on handling orders by all means, including urgently increasing the number of delivery personnel."
He added, "We will make all-out efforts to reduce any inconvenience customers are experiencing."
Meanwhile, five confirmed Korona19 cases were added in Daegu, bringing the number to 28 in just one day. So far, the total number of confirmed cases in Daegu has risen to 39.
